In today’s agriculture, the buzz word is “precision”. Sometimes we jump over the basics and directly to “high tech”.
ALPINE G24 has been a precision product for over 40 years. Sometimes we take some things for granted. Every drop of ALPINE G24 is identical. There is no separation. The dry fertilizer industry is trying to catch up with new “homogenized” phosphate and potassium products that don’t separate.
ALPINE liquid application kits have been precision, variable rate systems from day one. Fertilizer is pumped directly into the seed furrow.
And finally, in this day and age when we use complicated algorithms to compute just about everything, here is the correct answer to an everyday question. When placing starter in a 2X2 band (2 inches below and 2 inches to the side). How far are you placing the fertilizer from the seed? Most growers would tell you 2 inches. Using simple grade school math and the Pythagorean Theorem the fertilizer would be 2.828 inches away from the seed.
The dry starter in a 2X2 band is farther away and even less effective. ALPINE G24 placed in the furrow is still the most efficient way to place phosphate.
