ALPINE® BRAND CELEBRATING ITS 50TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2023.

NEW HAMBURG, ON – February 28, 2023 – Nachurs Alpine Solutions® will be using 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the ALPINE fertilizer brand. Launched in October of 1973, the ALPINE brand of fertilizer has grown to become the leading manufacturer of liquid fertilizer in Canada, with manufacturing plants located in New Hamburg, ON, and Belle Plaine, SK.

“Our line-up of fertilizers has expanded quite a bit over the years,” says Murray Van Zeggelaar, Vice President – ALPINE. “From the early days of producing just one product in a Quonset building on Arnold Street in New Hamburg to manufacturing a full line of starter, foliar, and micronutrient fertilizers in two world-class plants, it has been quite an evolution over the past 50 years. ALPINE’s newest innovation, Bio-K® potassium technology, is leading the way today and will help the ALPINE brand be successful for the next 50 years.”

In addition to celebrating ALPINE’s 50th anniversary, the New Hamburg plant is undergoing a significant project to streamline operations and increase capacity and efficiencies. Construction is expected to start in the first quarter of 2023, with an expected completion date by the end of 2023.
