Air Drill and Corn Planter Calibration Chart


Drive your tractor at normal speed for one minute and then measure off the distance traveled in feet.
Check the following chart to determine your speed in miles/hour.


4 mph = 352 ft./minute                                                    6.5 mph = 572 ft/minute
4.5 mph = 396 ft/minute                                                      7 mph = 616 ft/minute 
5 mph = 440 ft/minute                                                     7.5 mph = 660 ft/minute 
5.5 mph = 484 ft/minute                                                     8 mph = 704 ft/minute 


Run the pump with the orifices installed & the pressure set.

Hold a measuring cup under one outlet for the number of seconds indicated on the following chart for your particular ground speed and row spacing.

The number of ounces in the measuring cup is equal to the Imperial gallons/acre being applied at the equivalent speed, pressure and row spacing
